Description
In the exercise of my official duties as Minister of Indigenous Services and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario, I recused myself on January 22, 2024 from participating in any discussion or decision regarding the nomination process of Stephen Wojciechowski to be a judge of the Superior Court of Justice in Ontario in order to avoid any appearance of preferential treatment or any opportunity to further the private interest of my friend.
