Public Declaration of Outside Activities
As required under the Conflict of Interest Act
Statutory requirement(s):
25. (4) If a reporting public office holder holds a position referred to in subsection 15(2) or (3), the reporting public office holder shall, within 120 days after the day on which he or she is appointed, make a public declaration of that fact.
51. (1) The Commissioner shall maintain a registry consisting of the following documents for examination by the public:
(a)
public declarations made under section 25;(e)
any other documents that the Commissioner considers appropriate.

Pursuant to subsection 15(1.1) of the Conflict of Interest Act, I will continue to practice family medicine on an occasional basis and without remuneration. This will allow me to retain my licensing, my professional qualifications, and standards of technical proficiency necessary that are necessary to maintain my ability to practice my profession once I am no longer be a reporting public office holder. Finally, the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner is of the opinion that this activity is not incompatible with my duties as a public office holder.
