Public Declaration of Gifts or Other Advantages
As required under the Conflict of Interest Act
Statutory requirement(s):
25. (5) If a reporting public office holder or a member of his or her family accepts any single gift or other advantage that has a value of $200 or more, other than one from a relative or friend, the reporting public office holder shall, within 30 days after accepting the gift or other advantage, make a public declaration that provides sufficient detail to identify the gift or other advantage accepted, the donor and the circumstances under which it was accepted.
51. (1) The Commissioner shall maintain a registry consisting of the following documents for examination by the public:

- Services of a non-partisan paid intern working in my Member's office from February 6, 2023 to June 22, 2023

- Through the Parliamentary Internship Programme, interns interview the MP they choose to work with. The interns are university graduates who were trained by the House of Commons prior to working in Members' office.
