If you or a family member have accepted an acceptable gift or other benefit related to your position as a Member that has a value of $200 or more, you must publicly declare it.
You must do so within 60 days after accepting it, through the Disclosure Portal (you can also access it from a link at the top of every page of this website) or by filling out this form and submitting it to the Commissioner’s Office.
Keep in mind that the value of a gift does not determine if it’s acceptable. The $200 amount is a disclosure threshold only. Please consult with your advisor in the Commissioner’s Office, by calling 613-995-0721 or sending us an email.
