The Commissioner’s Office shares information, expertise, and best practices through organizations in Canada and other countries.
- It coordinates information sharing within the Canadian Conflict of Interest Network (CCOIN). This network is made up of federal, provincial and territorial conflict of interest commissioners.
- It jointly organizes educational activities with the Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying.
- It is a member of the Council on Governmental Ethics Laws (COGEL), a U.S.-based, international not-for-profit organization of public ethics practitioners.
- It is a founding member of the Réseau francophone d'éthique et de déontologie parlementaires, a network of conflict of interest and parliamentary ethics organizations in the Francophonie.
- It serves as an information resource for other countries and international organizations.
